Each hard gelatin capsule contains:

Nifuroxazide ……………… 100 mg
Nifuroxazide ……………… 200 mg

Suspension:

Each 5 ml suspension cootains:

Nifuroxazide ………………………………. 220 mg

Indications:

– Acute diarrhoea presumed to be of bacterial origin.
– Gastroenteritis.
– Acute and chronic colitis.
– Intestinal antiseptic in all other types of diarrhoea & intestinal infections to prevent superimposed bacterial infections.

Dosage and administration:

– Nifuroxazide activity is not affected by the pH of the stomach or presence of food.
• Unless otherwise prescribed by the physician, the usual adults dose is: 800 mg individualized into 3-4 doses.
– The dose can be increased according to the clinical response.

Package and storage:

– Box of 100 mg containing 2 strips, each of 10 capsules.
– Box of 200 mg containing 1 strip, each of 10 capsules.
– Bottle of 60 ml.
– Store at a temperature below 30º C.
